Day 1: Airport Greet and Meet

At arrival to the Juan Santamaría International Airport one of our representatives will meet you at the baggage claim area and provide private transfer to Grano de Oro Hotel in San José. Overnight at Hotel Grano de Oro, 1 Luxury King Suite.

Day 2. Pacuare River Rafting Class III-IV

The Pacuare River has been declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white water in Latin America, providing the adventurous rafter with a ride of unbelievable natural beauty as it winds deep inside one of Costa Rica's most impressive primordial rainforests. You will traverse 20 miles of remote and scenic waters that course through a wilderness of dense vegetation covering the sides of steep gorges that rise above the river banks. Transportation, breakfast, lunch, beverages, all safety equipment and expert tour guide are included in this trip. Overnight at Hotel Grano de Oro, 1 Luxury King Suite.

Day 3. Pachira Lodge 3 days / 2 nights

Very early morning pick up for the drive through the Braulio Carrillo National Park to the canals lining the Atlantic Coast, where the boat trip to Tortuguero starts. A typical breakfast is served on the way. Arrive at the lodge for lunch. The lodge will then schedule a tour to the village in the afternoon. This tour will provide detailed information on its history, culture and work in favor of conservation of the sea turtles and the flora and fauna in general. A visit to the Sea Museum of the "Caribbean Conservation Corporation" is also included. Check into a standard room at Pachira Lodge.

Day 4. Explore the Rainforest

After breakfast guests will enjoy the boat tours along the canals of Tortuguero. Visit the canals within the National park to discover a large variety of birds and receive detailed information on the flora and fauna of the area. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afterwards take an optional hiking trip to the Hill of Tortuguero. It provides impressive views on the whole valley of Tortuguero and from the trail it is easy to discover its different species of inhabitants among which are three different kinds of monkeys, sloths, caimans, turtles, iguanas, poison arrow frogs and many birds and insects including the blue butterfly (Morpho peleides). Overnight at Pachira Lodge, 1 standard room.

Day 5. Transfer to Arenal Volcano

Depart after breakfast for your return to the docks of Limón, an opportunity to recount your adventures in memory or on paper. On the way back there is a stop for lunch, where our driver will meet you and will provide private transfer to the Arenal Volcano area. Duration 3 hours One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this area. The flawless silhouette of the Arenal Volcano, its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash are a sight not to be missed by any visitor to Costa Rica. Day 6. Leasure Day

Today you can choose one of the following optional not included morning activities: Pure Trek Canyoning, Arenal Lake Kayaking, Safari floating adventure, and much more. For further details please ask your travel agent. Afternoon to relax in the hot springs!

Day 7. Transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest

This morning service is on a minivan - boat - minivan transfer, a scenic ride through the Arenal Lake to Monteverde Cloud forest area. Duration 2 1/2 hours Arenal Lake is the largest and the most important lake in Costa Rica, it was man made in 1974 to provide hydroelectric energy for the country. It is also a place where you can find different kinds of resident and migratory birds. Sometimes mammals can be seen in the surroundings, also great views of the Arenal Volcano when it's clear. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life sanctuaries in the tropics. This high elevation rain forest offers miles of trails with excellent opportunities for bird watching. Check into a standard room at Monteverde Lodge & Gardens.

Day 8. Explore the Cloud Forest

Sky Tram, Sky Walk and Sky trek Tour The tour starts with a 30 minutes ride on the cableway, where you can have a different perspective of the flora and fauna join by a Costa Rican expert guide. The Sky tram ends in a wide observation platform, where you start Sky Trek. Four transversal cables 190 meters (63 feet) and 214 meters (713 feet) long run along the tree tops two inside, two outside. The whole system is integrated by a path 2.300 meters long (7000 feet). Sky Trek guarantees a stretch of 1,317 m of cables and tours that last between 2.5 and 3 hours. Overnight at Monteverde Lodge & Gardens, 1 standard room.

Day 9: Private Transfer to Tamarindo Beach

Transfer to Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste Private transfer will be provided to Tamarindo Beach. Both nature and beach lovers will find plenty here to fill their days. Tamarindo is famous for its stunning beaches, its marine national park and wildlife refuge. This area encompasses beaches that attract one of the largest leatherback turtle populations in the wranorld. Peak nesting seasons in the area are October through January. Due to its constant waves, it is also one of the favorite places for surfers. Check into a superior room at Hotel Jardin del Eden.

Day 10-13. Leasure Days

Relax on the beach or take an ATV tour, go horseback riding, surfing or visit a National Park. There are many fun and new options in this area for you, please ask your travel agent for further details. Nights at Hotel Jardín del Edén, 1 superior room.

Day 14. Private Transfer to San José

After breakfast, private transfer will be provided to San José. Duration 4 1/2 hours Check into a prima villa at Xandari Resort.

Day 15. Private Transfer to International Airport

Private transfer to the Juan Santamaría International Airport.
