Day 1: Airport Greet and Meet

Airport meet and greet service by our VIP personnel upon arrival. Our friendly driver will transfer you to your hotel in the outskirts of San José, located 25 minutes away from the airport. Overnight at Hotel Grano de Oro (or similar) in a Luxury King, with breakfast included .

Day 2: Local flight to Hotel Punta Islita

Our friendly driver will pick you up and transfer you to the local airstrip for your domestic flight from San Jose to Punta Islita.
This flight takes 50 min approximately, and there is a weight restriction of 25-30 pounds per person.
Upon arrival, the friendly staff of Hotel Punta Islita will be there to greet you and transfer you to the hotel where you will be welcomed with a Tropical fruit cocktail! Overnight at Hotel Punta Islita in a Junior Suite with Plunge Pool, breakfast daily included. Free Canopy tour, horseback riding tour, or 30 min. couple spa treatment. Valid May 1 - Dec. 15, 2011

Day 3-4: Resort Relaxation

Indulge yourself and relax on the beach, enjoy horseback riding on the beach and dine in their delicious restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel Punta Islita in a Junior Suite with plunge Pool, breakfast daily included.

Day 5. Private transfer Punta Islita – La Fortuna/Arenal

A good 4 hour drive to Arenal awaits you, although the utmost beautiful landscape will make the ride feel a lot shorter than that. Arenal is the name of the country's biggest volcano. We have reserved two days for you at the close-by Tabacon Grand Spa & Thermal Resort. With clear blue sky, the volcano will come into view only 100 meters from the resort. Also, the resort provides natural hot springs, which give amazing relaxation. Overnight at Tabacon Grand Spa (or similar) in a Honeymoon Suite with Volcano & Rainforest views, breakfast daily included.

Day 6. Explore the Rainforest!

Rainforest Zip Lining Adventure
This adrenaline experience begins with a short walk to the first platform where our guides will meticulously check all the equipment. Following this inspection they will give you important instructions on how to slide properly along the cables.
From the highest platform and cable you will be able to see two beautiful waterfalls. This canopy tour is for everyone, no matter what age you are, just fill your lungs with fresh air while zipping through tree tops and admire incredible views of the Costa Rican tropical rainforest. Towards the end of your trip you will fly over the Arenal River down to the last platform.
There, our farm tractor will be awaiting you with refreshments before taking you on a fun trip back to the hotel.

Arenal Volcano Hiking Tour.
The tour begins with a trip to the far west side of Arenal Volcano, where you'll spend about one hour exploring the Silencio Trail. Our expert bilingual naturalist guide will find the animals, point-out indigenous rainforest plants and educate you about their medicinal properties.
Frequent sightings include: monkeys, wild boars, two types of toucans, White-Nosed Coatis, Oro Pendula birds, Golden Eyelash Vipers, Boa Constrictors, White-tailed Deer, Great Curassows. Before dark, you'll continue to the observation point, which offers the closest, most direct lava flow vista.
Relax, enjoy a drink and listen to the incredible sounds of the volcano. If cloud cover is high enough, expect to see a dazzling. Your guide will explain the history of this magnificent volcano as you listen to a variety of frogs, toucans, and insects, watch thousands of lightning bugs. Overnight at Tabacon Grand Spa (or similar) in a Honeymoon Suite with Volcano & Rainforest views, breakfast daily included.

Day 7. Private Transfer La Fortuna/Arenal-San Jose

Check out of the hotel and take the private transfer to start the 2 ½ hour drive back to San Jose. Enjoy the drive up the southern mountains of the Central Valley. Overnight at Hotel Grano de Oro (or similar) in a Deluxe King, with breakfast included.

Day 8. Transfer and Flight Home

Pick up at your hotel by a representative of EasyTravel Costa Rica for your private land transfer from Hotel Grano de Oro to Juan Santamaria International Airport to meet homebound flight.
